Sorry, but no, it was impossible for Rosa Parks to have been a Job’s daughter. In saying that, I don’t mean anything negative about her. Have the utmost respect for Ms. Parks & her fight for civil rights. What I mean is that in Alabama in 1923-1933 (the years she would have been age-eligible), Job’s Daughters was extremely new, & would have been extremely whites-only, as all non-Prince-Hall Masonic groups were at that time in that region. Masonic youth like DeMolay, Job’s, & Rainbow have never had Prince Hall equivalents, and didn’t start initiating members of color until the late ’70s. The only Prince Hall youth groups are Knights of Pythagoras and the Ruth Mitchell Tucker Girls . I’d love to know where you got the notion that Ms. Parks was a Job’s Daughter.
